1. Accessing frontend editor mode.
Select the icon for frontend editing mode.
The frontend editor will be loaded on the main window.
2. What is our goal?
We are now going to change the frontpage latest news element.
By frontpage latest news elements we mean:
- Latest news box after the image slideshow
- Individual news item image
- Individual news item title
- Individual news item subtitle
3. Opening the editor window.
In order to edit the latest news items showed at the latest news box we need to open the news item editor window.
Please click the pencil next to section you are about to edit.
4. Changing the latest news box.
To complete the modification you will have to alter the following items:
Tab: General
Title
This is the news title.
Subtile
This is the news subtile.
Text
This is the news main text. If "Subtile" fiedl is empty the content of this field will appear at the latest news box instead.
Tab: Media
Images
This is the list of active images for the news item.
The first image on the list will be used for the latest news box.
Select the "find file" button and look for the appropriate image on your computer home folders. The valid image formats are: GIF PNG JPG JPEG
5. Saving your changes.
After doing all the necessary changes in the previous step, is now time to save your work and close the editing window.
Click the top left "save and close" icon on your editing window.
Your latest news box is now personalized!
