1. Accessing frontend editor mode.
Select the icon for frontend editing mode.
The frontend editor will be loaded on the main window.
2. What is our goal?
We are now going to change the frontpage slideshow.
By frontpage slideshow we mean:
- Rotating images
- Rotating titles
- Rotating subtitles
3. Opening the editor window.
In order to edit the slideshow we need to open the slideshow editor window.
Please click the pencil next to section you are about to edit.
4. Changing the slideshow.
Before you proceed, first select the "Plugin" tab next to the "General" editing tab.
After selecting the "Plugin" tab alter the following items:
Images only
Here is a list of all active images rendered on your slideshow.
To remove an image you need to select the image first and then click on the icon "Remove selected items" (the cross on the right side).
To insert a new image you must select the "find file" button and look for the appropriate image on your computer home folders. The valid image formats are: GIF PNG JPG JPEG
Also in order to get a perfect match you should use images with 700x200 pixels in size (the proportion may be modified).
Description
This is the text that will become the title, subtile and link page id of each slideshow image. The format mask is:
Title | Subtile | pageid
There should be one line of description for each active image.
5. Saving your changes.
After doing all the necessary changes in the previous step, is now time to save your work and close the editing window.
Click the top left "save and close" icon on your editing window.
Your slideshow is now personalized!
